On 18 August 2020, another edition of Dashboard in a Day workshop was held, which we organized together with our partner, Microsoft. This time we invited all data analysis enthusiasts to participate in online training. The event was attended by a dozen or so company representatives from various industries, who have been exploring the secrets of data analysis throughout the day.
The last months of the coronavirus pandemic have been difficult for everyone. Preventive measures have significantly reduced the possibility of direct human contact, including participation in workshops or training. To meet the expectations of data analysis enthusiasts, we decided to organise another edition of Dashboard in a Day workshop together with our partner, Microsoft, in an online version.
The modern advertising market is constantly changing. The growing role of online channels and the popularity of mobile devices are facts that are difficult to dispute. This situation generates new challenges for marketing professionals. Marketing teams are becoming more and more specialized and process huge amounts of data every day. Although marketers have so far used Google Analytics in their analysis and made business decisions on this basis, today it is worth supporting these activities with extended analytics, based on advanced systems for analysing large amounts of data, such as Power BI.
The global spread of COVID-19 has put advanced tools for analysing large datasets at the forefront. The unprecedented impact of coronavirus on almost the entire world has resulted in a partnership that is unique on a historic scale. The cooperation of AI scientists and experts contributes significantly to finding viable solutions.

Microsoft has announced a comprehensive $1 billion investment plan to accelerate innovation and digital transformation in “Polish Digital Valley”. The program combines long-term investment in improving the skills of talented people operating in the high-tech sector, strong local partnerships and support for the digital transformation. Under a partnership agreement with domestic cloud provider Chmura Krajowa, Microsoft will launch its first data-processing region in Central and Eastern Europe in Poland.
The coronavirus topic has recently dominated world media. No wonder – the WHO last announced the state of the pandemic in 2009. Are new technologies together with data analysis helpful in such situations?
The next edition of “Dashboard in a Day” workshop, which we organise periodically together with our partner, Microsoft, took place on 20 February in Cracow. This time, the meeting was attended by nearly thirty representatives of various companies, who have explored the secrets of the data analysis during the entire day.
At the turn of March and April, EBIS will be exhibiting at this year’s SGL Bits conference in London. We already invite you to participate in this event and to visit our stand.
