Each company generates vast amounts of data daily. They come from many sources, and unfortunately, without their proper segmentation, concluding is much more difficult. However, with the development of new technologies, reliable data analysis is much easier. Tools such as Microsoft Power BI effectively support entrepreneurs in transforming raw data into valuable business information.
Coronavirus has been a dominant topic in the media recently. This is not surprising – the number of infected people worldwide continues to rise. Due to the significant epidemiological threat, we have prepared an interactive report in Power BI, which shows the current number of infections worldwide. It also includes data on the number of people who have recovered, lost their lives due to COVID-19, and indicates the number of people vaccinated.
The outgoing year will go down in history as a time of quick growth in demand for information technology in companies forced to revamp their business models drastically. In 2021, we can expect this trend to continue. In particular, data analysis systems, such as Power BI – the most effective tool for building a company’s competitive advantage – will gain in importance.
The coronavirus pandemic and related restrictions moved a significant part of our activities to the Internet. This resulted in an enormous increase in the number of data generated by customers. Their precise analysis can be a source of invaluable conclusions for companies on the improvement of sales processes. Is their potential was exploited?
The largest technology fair in the Middle East – GITEX Technology Week – took place in Dubai from 6-10 December 2020. During this event, over 1200 private companies, government entities and start-ups from over 60 countries presented their services and products, including EBIS.

The next edition of “Dashboard in a Day” workshop, which we organise periodically together with our partner, Microsoft, took place on 20 February in Cracow. This time, the meeting was attended by nearly thirty representatives of various companies, who have explored the secrets of the data analysis during the entire day.
