Power BI – a modern system for data analysis
We are extremely pleased with such a great interest in Power BI and the opportunities that business intelligence offers modern entrepreneurs. It is an evident signal that companies take their business seriously and are open to implementing advanced technologies.
Already today, data analysis plays a significant role in the modern world and, as the reports indicate, nothing will stop this trend so far. All the more so, the knowledge about the potential of data and how to use it in one’s everyday work becomes of real importance.
DIAD Workshop, the power of condensed knowledge about Power BI
The DIAD workshops, which took place last week in Krakow, were also practical this time. The experience we gained in the previous editions of the event confirmed that working on one’ own data is the best way to understand the possibilities offered by Power BI.
After a brief introduction and discussion of the essential functions of the system, the practical part of the workshop started. Each of the participants carried out their own analysis, according to their individual needs and in relation to the industry in which they currently work.
Previous editions of the workshop proved that this form of organisation brings maximum benefits to attendees. The whole process of data analysis and learning about the Power BI system was, of course, supervised by our experienced consultants. Thanks to this, the learning process went smoothly and was adjusted to the whole group.
DIAD workshop participants learned how to import and aggregate data correctly. They also learned the rules of determining business rules and KPIs. Moreover, they created interactive reports and dashboards and shared the analyses created with other members of their teams.

The positive opinions we have heard during and after the seminar are a clear signal to us that the demand for this type of training is growing. We hope that the initiative taken by EBIS in cooperation with our partner, Microsoft, will increase the awareness of companies and organisations about the possibilities offered by data analysis using business intelligence tools.
