Dashboard in a Day – what happened during the online workshop?
Training in Power BI and data analysis, which we organize periodically with our partner, Microsoft, is top-rated from the very beginning. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we decided to hold it this time online.
The participants, as in the case of traditional DIAD training, worked independently on previously developed data, according to the Microsoft script. Each of them, to be more precise, performed several practical exercises, which were aimed at showing the possibilities offered by the Power BI system.
The experience gained during the previous editions of the event confirmed our belief that working with real examples is the best way to understand the possibilities offered by Power BI. Each of the participants of the training conducted an analysis according to the developed scenario. Our experienced consultants regularly made sure that the whole process of learning to use the Power BI system runs smoothly and according to the possibilities of the entire group. The attendees found out how to import and aggregate data, defined business rules and KPIs. They also created interactive reports and dashboards and shared the created analyses with other team members.
– Previous editions of the Dashboard in a Day training enjoyed great interest. We received many positive opinions about them, which encouraged us to organize online workshops during the ongoing pandemic. We believe that the initiative taken by EBIS and Microsoft will increase entrepreneurs’ awareness of data analysis and show them how to turn data into valuable business information with the help of modern business intelligence tools such as Power BI – explains Mateusz Bazan, CEO of EBIS.
Once again, we thank all workshop attendees for their active participation. We hope that the knowledge gained during the training will be useful in your everyday work and will increase the effectiveness of performed analyses. We would also like to thank our partner, Microsoft, for help in organizing the event!
