This architecture ensures that data is protected at every stage &#8211; from transmission to storage to processing. The Power BI service uses advanced data encryption mechanisms during transmission (Transport Layer Security &#8211; TLS) and during storage (Azure Storage Encryption). In addition, Microsoft Power BI uses Azure Active Directory (AAD) services for identity management and access control, ensuring that only authorized users can access data.    <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Access control and authorization in Power BI<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p> One of the key elements of data protection in Microsoft Power BI is access control and user authorization.
